Main Character Reception Dresses

One-Shoulder Ruffle Mini Tulle Dress | KikiRiki | $134

I’ll admit, I wore three dresses on my wedding day and I am so glad I did. I originally had a reception dress that honored my Asian upbringing (that was red), but I really wanted to end the night wearing white and in something more party-esque. I didn’t search for a 3rd reception dress until two weeks before my wedding, and it ended up being the most fun dress. I purchased it for only $130 and some of my friends loved it more than my much pricier gowns that night! I seriously felt like a main character - it brought out the fun, festive energy that is needed during a reception.

So if you’ve been debating about a change in attire, I encourage you to go for it! Chances are you won’t regret it. It also doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg, because let’s be honest after the cost of a whole wedding, you’re not going to want to spend so much.

Since my wedding has passed, I’ve seen so many amazing, unique reception options. I hope to help a bride save precious time frantically for something!
